Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction InvoiceUK is a mobile application and web service (“the Service”) that allows users to create, send, track, and manage invoices. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Service. By using InvoiceUK, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Who We Are The Service is provided by Engfran Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a limited company registered in England and Wales. Trading as InvoiceUK. Contact: support@invoiceuk.com
3. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by sole traders, freelancers, and small businesses in the United Kingdom.
4. Free and Paid Use
The core features (creating, sending, and tracking invoices, WhatsApp/email sharing, and optional card payments via Stripe) are provided free of charge with no usage limits.
Optional premium features (such as advanced automated reminders, monthly performance reports, expense tracking, AI quick invoice chatbot, and custom templates) are available only to subscribers of the Diamond plan (£9.99 per month).
We reserve the right to change pricing, introduce new features, or modify existing ones at any time. Changes will be notified in-app or via email.
5. Payment Processing Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. When a client pays via the “Pay Now” button:
Stripe charges its standard processing fee (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK domestic cards).
InvoiceUK applies a small additional platform fee (currently 1.2–1.5%) to cover service costs. This fee is automatically deducted before payout to you.
You receive the net amount. Full details are shown in your Stripe dashboard.
We do not store or process payment card details — Stripe handles all payment security. https://stripe.com/gb
6. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of invoices you create, including amounts, VAT, client details, and compliance with UK tax laws (e.g., Making Tax Digital).
You must not use the Service for illegal purposes or to facilitate fraud.
You are responsible for chasing unpaid invoices and any legal action required (e.g., Letter Before Action or small claims court). Automated reminders are a convenience tool only and do not constitute legal advice.
7. Our Responsibilities & Limitations
We provide the Service “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that all invoices will be paid.
We are not liable for: unpaid invoices, loss of business, tax penalties, or any indirect/consequential losses.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months (or £100 if you have not paid).
8. Intellectual Property The InvoiceUK app, website, design, and content are owned by Engfran Services Ltd. You may use the Service for your own business purposes but may not copy, modify, resell, or reverse-engineer it.
9. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for any other reasonable reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
